Survival Kit - How to Survive in Disasters

The natural and man made disasters will take place very frequently, irrespective of your location around the globe. As we come closer to 2012, the frequency of the disasters will be increased by many folds. This will happen anywhere around the globe without any warnings, irrespective whether you believe it or not.

Our planet has already experienced some deadliest catastrophes in various countries in recent times, these were record breaking disasters that had never occurred in our history. Too many incidence happing these days around the planet has something to say about our future, we can’t neglect only because we don’t like them.

As a responsible human being, it is better to be prepared and also educate others on this subject. We’re moving into the golden age, but this transition is not that simple, we can take an example of a mother delivering her baby, mother will experience tremendous pain and sufferings in the process, but then the outcome is awesome. Similarly, we’ve to go through these catastrophes and when we overcome this, we’ll enter into the golden age, a planet where there is a peace and prosperity everywhere.

As a human being it is our right and we should always try our level best for our survival, you are alone in this race and do not expect your government or some private agencies to help you. We’ve so many examples right in front of our eyes, but we purposely do not want to see them, we try to avoid and move our attention away from them, and we are also smart enough to accept that, this is not the solution to our problems.

I can give lots of examples of disasters that had happened in recent times across the globe, you can even get this information from internet. I purposely do not want to mention it here because by the time you read this article, the number would have increased.

We’ll loose nothing if we’re prepared and it will become our life saver when we are in deep shit.

Do you have any idea what you will do when one day the alarm goes on and you are instructed to leave your area in couple of hours and move to some relief camps, what will you take with you?
  1. Money – how much money can you take in cash from ATM or Bank (do you have time to go to your bank?)
  2. Food – cooked food? Junk food? Do you have a proper food that can be consumed for atleast 3 to 5 days until you get some help.
  3. Tools – You don’t have time to collect them neither you have time to purchase from the shop.
  4. Documents – Have you kept all the important documents at one place, there will be no time for searching.
  5. Transportation, Water, Medicines, etc
What if it becomes even worse, you do not have time to leave your premises (in case of earthquake, tsunami, tornado, super wind and flood) and you will be stuck up at your place and may have very little or absolutely no time to escape.

All the people around the globe who are affected from these natural and man made disasters have never predicted that this will happen to them, but it happened and we all have witnessed it, but still I do not understand why we’ve convinced ourselves that nothing will go wrong on this part of the world. Are you waiting for media and your government to give instructions on TV or Radio about this, or your superstars or politician will come forward and guide you? Do not continue to live in imaginary world, wake up and educate yourself, do some research and try to understand what’s going on on the other parts of the world, what our scientists and researchers are trying to convey, where are we now and what are our responsibilities.

It takes nothing or very minimal efforts to prepare yourself, you will loose nothing, atleast you will be able to fight for your survival. My purpose here is not to scare you but to make you aware of the situation we all will be facing in our near future, and how we can survive by taking some precautionary steps and educate ourselves and our society (I mean our human society).
